Job Summary: The Finance Manager role supports the management of financial statements and metrics including reporting for a defined business or function. This includes month-to-month forecasting and analytics, multi-year planning, contributing to the construction of the annual operating plan and ad hoc projects. This position will require a focus on coaching and professional development to a team of direct or indirect reports. This person will work cross-functionally to provide business insights and financial leadership to help drive strategic and financial initiatives.
What You’ll Be Working On:
- Prepare organizational financial statements including analysis, in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the finance department
- Prepare the annual budget
- Manager and project cash flows for the organization
- Recommend benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance
- Oversee daily operations of the Finance team
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent
- 5+ years relevant experience
- An analytical mind
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
- Strong technical abilities, i.e. Excel, databases

- Perform cash and investment reconciliations.
- Establishes procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and services.
- Recommends benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance.
- Oversees daily operations of the Finance team.
- Provides assessment and recommendations for selection and implementation of automated financial, payroll, purchasing and management information systems.
- Assist with the annual financial statement audit.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent
- 5+ years relevant experience

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
