The Finance Manager holds primary oversight of all department and project budgets, undertaking tasks such as preparing analyses of key financial indicators, monthly/quarterly reconciliation, and updating departmental spending forecasts. The Finance Manager will ensure effective grant management by meticulously overseeing grant-related accounting functions, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, and facilitating transparent communication with stakeholders regarding grant utilization. Clear communication of spending information to the leadership team and managing budget requirements for proposals are essential aspects of this role. The Finance Manager will also manage accounting functions, including accounts payable and payroll. The Finance Manager’s proactive approach involves analyzing reports and statistics to enhance policies, procedures, and budget processes, identifying opportunities for cost management, and collaborating with program managers for implementation.

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Accounting and Finance, preferably in a nonprofit environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in financial modeling and analysis.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant, CPA
- Master of Business Administration, MBA
