We are in search of a Finance Manager to join our team based in Boston. This role primarily involves financial planning and analysis, along with some aspects of accounting. You will be working in a biotech industry setting and will be expected to handle forecasting, budgeting, and simple accounting tasks independently. We are in search of a Finance Manager to join our team based in Boston. This role primarily involves financial planning and analysis, along with some aspects of accounting. You will be working in a biotech industry setting and will be expected to handle forecasting, budgeting, and simple accounting tasks independently. Responsibilities
- Carry out financial planning and analysis tasks
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for forecasting and other financial functions
- Handle budgeting processes and ensure they are uploaded into NetSuite
- Extract data from various spreadsheets and functions for upload into NetSuite
- Assist with month-end close and accruals as part of the accounting responsibilities
- Contribute to audit season preparations by handling simple accounting tasks such as accruals and reconciliations
- Apply your biotech industry experience to all finance-related tasks
- Work independently and take initiative to complete tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) is a must.
- Background in the Biotech industry is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using NetSuite accounting software is necessary.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are required.
- Demonstrated experience in Budgeting and Forecasting is essential.
