On a typical day you will:
- Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements and reports to assess accuracy and conformance to reporting standards
- Compile financial information to prepare and post entries to the general ledger
- Apply accounting principles to analyze and prepare financial reports
- Participate in month and year end close activities
- Assist in creating and updating the annual budget
- Analyze and review other data from transactions specific to the Transportation business
- Bachelors or Associates in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in corporate or public accounting
- Experience preparing financial statements; some experience with budgeting/forecasting preferred
- Experience utilizing an ERP; SAP preferred
- Excellent communicative and organizational skills
