Must be Local to Louisville, Kentucky and able to work in office/hybrid The Finance Reserving Intern - General 2 acts as an apprentice while completing formal education or immediately following graduation. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion. **Use your skills to make an impact** **Job Responsibilities** + Assist in the analysis and reporting of financial data, supporting the reserving processes. + Participate in monthly financial forecasting and the preparation of financial statements. + Collaborate with the Actuarial department to understand and support actuarial reserving. + Aid in the development and refinement of accounting methodologies. + Engage in special projects, offering both logistical and analytical support. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with SQL, SAS, or Python + Possess an interest in working in the healthcare industry **Required Qualifications** + Familiarity with Microsoft Excel + Must be able to work in Louisville January 2025 - Summer 2025 **Additional Information** + **Must be Local to Louisville, Kentucky** **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40 **Pay Range** The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
