The Director of Finance plays a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning and budget management functions for lines of business.
- Establish and recommend benchmarks to measure financial and operational performance.
- Analyze monthly results and compare them against budgets to identify trends and opportunities.
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and outlooks.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to craft and execute business plans aligned with organizational objectives.
- Support the development of short- and long-term departmental goals, policies, and procedures.
- Provide guidance to other departments on financial policies, procedures, and resource optimization.
- Design and maintain an effective organizational structure to meet departmental goals.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor department staff to achieve high performance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in mid to senior-level finance or accounting roles.
- In-depth knowledge of financial systems, budgeting, and federal/state regulations.
- Experience in an integrated healthcare system or similar environment preferred.
- CPA designation is a plus.
- Familiarity with automated financial reporting systems and compliance standards.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in healthcare, Fortune 500, or private equity organizations.
Work Environment:
This is primarily an office-based role with occasional field visits. While performing duties, the individual may need to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer frequently. Light lifting (up to 20 pounds) may be required, along with occasional bending or kneeling. The noise level is generally low to moderate, and the workspace is temperature-controlled.
