The Region Finance Director is a leader within the region finance organization and is responsible for assisting the store controllers and the region operations group on financial reporting, controls and processes.  This position performs financial planning and analysis utilizing Corporate tools (i.e. Hyperion, Essbase) as well as region specific tools. The Region Finance Director partners with the region management team, Corporate and dealership Controller to ensure information is completed timely and accurately. The Region Finance Director assists region in addressing issues and developing actions plans for various areas including, but not limited to, forecasts, budgets, monthly operating reviews, acquisitions, capital spend, DMS issues, accounting policy, internal audit findings, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Finance partner with the region and market operations teams, Region VP Finance, and dealership GM’s and controllers to support analysis and reporting of performance. 
• Assists the VP Finance in directing and supervising the actions of the Store Controllers in a specific Market.
• Works directly with the region finance team to assist in resolution of issues and achieving the budgeted targets for compensation and other SG& A.
• Coordinates the planning and analysis effort for a Market including the dealerships for the accurate and timely completion of the DOC, forecasts and budgets.
• Supports initiatives that promote the development and growth of the store controller position.
• Supports key control efforts including accounting policies related to Sarbanes-Oxley.

Scope of Responsibility:

• Director will assist Region VP Finance in supporting Market organization consisting of on average 11 Store Controllers and 17-20 Stores.
• Significant responsibility for partnering with Market President and Market Staff to achieve Market budgeted goals each year.

Reports to: Region VP Finance , indirect to Market President
