The ideal candidate will lead the finance and accounting function, manage and oversee all financial operations, evaluate controls, assist operational management, identify inefficiencies and implement best practices aimed at improving controls and administrative functions.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven working experience as a Finance Controller
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in financial management
- CPA or CMA preferred
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Professional Skills:
An ideal candidate has extensive background in Accounting/Finance. Good at multitasking and meeting deadlines. Quick learner and “self-starter”. Needs to have a positive attitude. Must be highly motivated and very sharp.

Job Details
The ideal candidate will lead the finance and accounting function, manage and oversee all financial operations, evaluate controls, assist operational management, identify inefficiencies and implement best practices aimed at improving controls and administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all financial operations, ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records, including the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, intercompany transactions.
- Ensure all financial and accounting operations comply with federal and state laws and follow IFRS.
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and prepare the monthly reporting package with assistance from the operations team.
- Oversee cash flow management, develop monthly cash flow forecast.
- Ensure compliance with all financial reporting and regulatory requirements, including tax filings, audits, and other reporting requirements.
- Manage relationships with external partners, including banks, auditors, and other financial service providers.
- Tax planning and filing (Federal, State). Tax filing may be covered by the 3rd party tax/accounting professionals/consultants.
- Develop and oversee the annual budgeting process, working closely with the Leadership Team.
- Assist in financial and tax audits.
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3+ years of proven working experience as a Finance Controller
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in financial management
- CPA or CMA preferred
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Professional Skills:
- Proven successful financial management, including experience with month closing, managing budgets, and overseeing financial reporting and compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Hands-on experience with accounting software
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis, risk management and forecasting methods
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluency in Russian is preferred but not required
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
