Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a client to find an experienced Finance & Bankruptcy Paralegal II. This opportunity offers a dynamic role for a skilled professional looking to engage in complex financial and bankruptcy matters. The position is being offered due to the retirement of a current team member, making it an excellent opportunity for someone to step into a pivotal role within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Handle corporate bankruptcies and restructurings, ensuring compliance with legal standards and timelines.
- Engage in financing new ventures, assisting in structuring and documenting transactions.
- Conduct due diligence, manage closing processes, and collaborate with external vendors to ensure efficient and accurate transaction handling.
- Prepare and organize documentation related to bankruptcy filings and financial transactions.
- Coordinate with legal teams and clients to facilitate smooth proceedings and negotiations.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records for all transactions and filings.
- Provide insightful analysis and feedback on financial and legal matters as needed.
Qualifications
- 4 - 7+ years of experience in bankruptcy, finance, or banking.
- Experience can be from a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Paralegal Certificate required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in legal research and document management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required Work Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Salary
$110,000 - $125,000 per year
