Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Finance Operations Support Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth functioning of our finance operations, particularly in health plan financial reporting and various financial projects. Your responsibilities will include gathering, interpreting, and evaluating financial information, as well as assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and trend analysis. Additionally, you will be responsible for expense review and accounts payable entry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop insightful reports and data analyses to aid in the assessment of business performance.
- Conduct thorough analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial data, identifying variances, fluctuations, and profitability determinations.
- Utilize financial modeling techniques to forecast future costs and revenue impacts accurately.
- Collaborate in the design and delivery of management presentations, showcasing key insights and recommendations.
- Actively participate in automation initiatives and process enhancements aimed at optimizing reporting and evaluation procedures.
Job Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or related roles.
Preferred:
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar capacity.
