Illinois Orthopedic Network PLLC is seeking for a skilled full-time Finance Administrative Assistant to support our finance department's daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software.
This Finance Administrative Assistant position comes with a competitive wage based on education and years of experience. Responsibilities
- Reconciles bank/credit card statements
- Manage financial records and maintain filing systems
- Sort, organize and distribute all incoming mail
- Prepare and send all outgoing mail and packages
- Prepares analysis & reports
- Performs general office support activities
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Support budget preparation and financial reporting
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skill
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FINANCE ADMIN ASSISTANT
As a Finance Administrative Assistant, you are a valuable member of the Finance team. You will provide administrative support services such as sorting mail, scanning accounts payable documents into the electronic file cabinet. You will perform self-audits on the information you are responsible for entering to ensure data is not missed and that it is entered accurately. You will serve as the Finance/Accounting team liaison for all departments, offices and entities. This means receiving large amounts of correspondence from various departments and offices. Additionally, you get to assist the finance team with both internal and external client/vendor inquiries.
