Finance/Accounting Assistant - The Primary Health Network

About the Job
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for maintaining the workflow and performing any general administrative duties within the Finance Department.
Essential Function:
- Work with all other Finance Department personnel to assure a balance flow of duties throughout the department.
- Assist in aspects of month-end closing including general ledger account maintenance, reconciliations,
- and financial statement production.
- Assist with research and data gathering for various regulatory reports.
- Assist with the operating and capital budget process.
- Assist with daily incoming and outgoing mail.
- Assist with accounts payable process, including opening invoices, coding and keying invoices, and vendor payments.
- Work on special projects within the finance department.
- Assist within the billing department as requested.
- All other duties deemed necessary.
Location and Hours of Position
PHN Finance Department: 118 Vine Avenue, Sharon, PA 16146.
The general office hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- 1 year of computer experience
- Accurate and attention to details
