Are you a seasoned Large Pipe Work Plumber with expertise in excavation trenches and above-ground piping? Have you played a pivotal role in industrial or heavy commercial construction projects involving pipes, pipefitting, or filtration systems? Longhorn Organics is extending an invitation to skilled professionals like you to become part of our team as Installers / Plumbers. In this role, you'll be an integral member of our installation team, working on large-scale filtration systems for thrilling and unique projects like Water Parks, Zoos, and Aquariums. Your tasks will span both above and below-ground installations. - Water filtration systems fabrication and installation
- Operate heavy machinery as assigned
- Perform HDPE Fusion Welding
- Perform plumbing installation of PVC (schedule 80), HDPE, CPVC, and SS piping as assigned, including pipe supports.
- Perform Maintenance and repair work as assigned on company and client locations
- General construction work including plumbing, excavation, carpentry, fiberglassing, and metalwork.
- Product manufacturing, packaging, inventory, and delivery as assigned
- Follow precise directions and plans to complete daily tasks
- Required:
- 2+ years of LSS/water filtration fabrication experience or 3+ years of general construction crew experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to clearly communicate goals and project progress to supervisors in verbal and written formats.
- Proficiency with general hand and shop tools.
- Physical ability to sit/stand/bend/lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted.
- Preferred:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience in facilities management, fusion welding, glass/acrylic handling, aquatic exhibit ecosystem management, and basic lab skills for water testing.
- Certifications such as Certified LSS Operator or Certified Pool Operator.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work safely in confined spaces and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Skilled in plumbing and other construction-related tasks.
- Knowledge of eco-system management and water filtration systems is a plus.
