Film & Video Production Editor at Custom Group Companies

Our client, North America's largest roofing and waterproofing manufacturer of commercial and residential properties is seeking a Film & Video Production Editor for at least 6 months at their Parsippany location.
Onsite required Tuesday, Wed, Thurs (remote Monday, Friday). 30 to 40 hours a week.

Summary
To be successful in this position you must be well organized with great media and time management skills. You must be able to take direction well, work independently and as a team to meet deadlines, bring creativity and style to different brands. It is paramount that you have a great sense of typography, timing, style, and design. Many projects require heavy compositing and a great deal of animation and motion graphics.

Responsibilities
• Work with the Production Managers and SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to create marketing videos that effectively communicate marketing and branding messages.
• Edit broadcast quality videos, commercials and promos in Avid Media Composer
• Understands basic AVID color correction and comfortable with conversion LUTS and LOG color workflows.
• Composite and create motion graphics and animations in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
• Compress and transcode videos and media files for digital distribution.
• Able to make multiple cuts of an approved video retaining the look and feel of the original.
• Maintain media assets, servers and libraries.
• Edit, package and deliver finalized video content

Requirements
• Excellent storytelling skills.
• Team player who is well organized, punctual and able to quickly follow direction in both live and post-production environments
• Online portfolio that fully demonstrates your motion graphics & editing
• Minimum of two years of professional experience with Avid Media Composer and Adobe After Effects.
• Proficient with; Avid Keyboard shortcuts, video compositing, color correction, chroma-keying, audio mixing, FX, motion graphics and broadcast standards.
• Proficient with the following software: Avid Media Composer, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Sorenson Squeeze, Google Suite.
The ability to physically work from our production facilities in Parsippany NJ.
