About the Job
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team. As a File Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing physical and electronic files, ensuring accurate and efficient record-keeping. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. If you have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic files according to established procedures
- Ensure accurate and efficient record-keeping by properly labeling and categorizing files
- Retrieve and distribute files as needed
- Assist with data entry tasks and update information in accounting software
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth file management processes
- Package and prepare files for shipment or storage
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience using accounting software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Packaging experience is preferred
