Brightland Homes is currently seeking a Field Validator to compare BOM's, job estimates, and job site observations to ensure estimates are accurate and there is not unnecessary loss occurring on Brightland Homes' construction sites.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize FormsCentral to request take-off changes discovered through the validation process
- Answer material and subcontractor variances and eliminate variance issues
- Review contractor compliance with company SOWs , installation methods, and use of manufacturer-specified materials
- Verify and document vendor deliveries to the field and ensure correct quantities are received when necessary (including 5 lumber drops, 5 brick deliveries, and 5 sheetrock orders per month)
- Communicate any field/builder issues encountered to the Estimating Department
- Maintain up-to-date validation forms
- Work with management to establish and improve field validation processes and procedures
- Provide weekly, quarterly, and annual EPO reports and statistics to management
- Identify areas for controlling and reducing costs
- Ensure accuracy in take-offs and submit change requests to Estimating
- Maintain regular, written, and in-person communication with other staff members and management
- Review plans for discrepancies and help identify solutions
- Communicate with management for approvals, to track take-off change requests, etc.
- Review EPO reports weekly to identify all Estimating, Purchasing, price change, plan errors, etc. EPOs
- Liasion between Purchasing department and Construction
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Extremely organized
- Prior knowledge of the production homebuilding industry
- Familiar with the use of computers and computer software
- Strong time management skills; exemplary record of attendance and punctuality
- Possess current, valid driver's license and adequate proof of at least the minimum auto-liability insurance for the state
