Title: Field Supervisor

Wage: $36.50 per hour with a work truck 

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Reports to: Vice President 

The Field Supervisor position will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations for National Hydro Excavation Services. This position will be responsible for supervising completion of projects in a safe and timely manner.

Essential Functions: 

• Frequently lift, bend, stoop, climb, and jump

• Continuous driving automotive equipment

• Being near machinery

• Changes in temperature

• Working regularly around dirt and dust 

• Walk long distances and stand long periods of time

• Written and verbal communication skills

• Reasoning, math, and language

• Make independent judgements 

• Occasional travel

   

Job Description:

• Manage day to day operations: job progress, permitting, scheduling, and paperwork
• Supervise the team and ensure duties are completed
• Responsible to obtain job materials and ensure materials are onsite in timely manner 
• Log truck inspections, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with safety regulations
• Build and maintain client relationships exceeding expectations with a positive focus on communication
• Meet with clients for per work process and walkdown with operators

Requirements:        

• Valid Driver’s License 
• Class B CDL 
• 3-5 years relevant field experience 
• Knowledge of underground utilities
