Sodexo is seeking a Traveling Biomedical Equipment Technician 1 for Field Service located in the Tustin, CA area. This is a remote opportunity that requires travel.

What You'll Do
Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, maintain and calibrate a basic range of clinical equipment, devices, systems and instruments.
- Interact on a routine basis with clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based
- problems and solutions
- Solve organization-level customer service issues and complaints
- Prepare required documentation and reports
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Financial responsibility for purchasing parts and service
- Demonstrate a safety mindset
- Provide advanced support of equipment for direct patient care

What You Bring
We are seeking solution-oriented candidates who excel at customer service with proven success as a Biomedical Equipment Technician 1 (BMET). Sodexo’s BMET professionals have:
Formal training and preferred experience servicing clinical equipment
- Experience in a healthcare facility or healthcare setting
- Experience effectively repairing, maintaining and calibrating clinical devices such as: Infusion pumps, Defibrillator's, Patient Monitoring, Electro-surgery Units, Endoscopic Surgery Equipment, Nurse-Call, Neonatal Warmers, and IV Pumps.
- Proactive thinking skills to troubleshoot
- Strong customer service skills; ability to provide world-class service to healthcare customers

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment and/or equivalent of military BMET program and/or AAMI certified
