Responsibilities:
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery faults and malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of all service, repair, and maintenance work completed.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements to the equipment and processes.
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in packaging technology and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role in the engineering industry.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with packaging equipment, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for maintenance and repair work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to travel to various field locations as needed.
- A degree or certificate in Engineering, or a related field, is preferred.
