About the Job
Now hiring a Field Service Technician to work for a large medical device manufacturer. The Field Service Technician will be traveling to healthcare facilities across the US to service medication dispensing machines. Open to candidates across the US, will be assigned to locations closest to worker's location. Required availability is full-time / 40 hours per week (days).

Field Service Technician Highlights
- This position is a 1-year long W2 contract assignment to start with potential for extension and/or conversion to direct based on attendance, performance, and business needs. Currently scheduled through 12/2025.
- Target start date: 12/02 or 12/09
- Pay is set at $23.61 per hour, paid biweekly
- United Healthcare benefits are available through A-Line Staffing after 90 days and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance. To be eligible for benefits you must work an average of 30 hours per week for your first 6 weeks.
- A 401(k) with a company match is available to full-time workers with one year of service on one of our eligibility dates.
- Need contingent workers for remediation on MedBank and Pyxis devices for 9-18 months
- Mondays and Fridays would be typical travel days but there will be instances where the technicians would also remediate devices on Monday/Friday if they have a short travel day
- Schedule is between 8-10 hour days depending on location. There may also be some needs to work off hours to get into OR Suites when procedures aren’t taking place.
- Open to candidates across US. Heavy travel position, will be assigned to locations closest to worker location as much as possible
Field Service Technician Responsibilities
- Perform needed updates on MedBank products as required
- Track and maintain administrative requirements and data as required by the organization
- Accurately document time worked on each product and submit on-time
- Book travel in travel booking tool (company will pay for air, hotel, rental car)
Skills:
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Basic computers skills required
- Strong attention to detail required
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Ability to work in nursing home and hospitals day in and out
- Lifting requirements - Ability to lift 70-pound objects from the floor to chest level
- Hand-powered tools - Ability to operate powered drills, powered screw drivers and other powered tools
- Manual tool manipulation - Ability to turn manual sockets, crescent wrenches and screw drivers repeatedly over the course of an eight to 10-hour day
- Ability to sit, kneel, squat, bend, and stand repeatedly in an eight to 10-hour period to assemble and repair instrument suites
- Ability to push and pull heavy objects (on casters)
- Ability to perform fine motor tasks while reaching over the course of an eight to 10-hour day
- Ability to carry a 40-pound pack on your back or shoulder for up to one hour
- Ability to drive distances of up to six hours in adverse weather conditions
- May be required to wear a respirator while servicing equipment, thus must be able to pass a fit test and medical evaluation
- Ability to travel regionally and nationally
