We sell premium compressed air equipment with captive aftermarket. We repair this equipment on-site and on-demand, to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Summary
The Service Technician serves as an ambassador for the Company and is responsible for repairs and maintenance of mechanical and electrical components of compressed air systems equipment residing on client property. These include compressed air dryers, compressors, (reciprocating and rotary screw - oil lubricated and oil free), and filter systems. Services are performed on-site and on-demand, to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform equipment checks to diagnose and repair problems with compressed air equipment before they occur.
- Perform annual and semi-annual maintenance and testing on compressed air equipment.
- Program, troubleshoot microprocessor and PLC-based equipment controls.
- Resolve customer initiated technical issues.
- Ability to startup and troubleshoot compressed air equipment.
- Work at customer site daily.
- Build and maintain client relationships through regular visits.
- Serves as a technical resource to customers.
- Partner with company sales representatives and management to increase service and aftermarket business.
- Ability to travel to assist other company technicians as needed.
- Complete service reports and send them to the customer and company admin team in a timely manner.
- Participate in Factory Training Sessions.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but may serve as a coach and mentor for other service technicians learning about Compressed Air.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, but candidate must be able to work flexible hours. Early morning, evening and weekend work may occasionally be required as job duties demand.
Travel
This is an ‘on the road' position traveling to customers sites up to 400 miles away. Overnight stays will be required, as needed, with the company providing paid lodging and meals.
Required Education and Experience
- High school/Trade School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Previous work history with a service based organization.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- The ability to pass government background checks and regular drug screening.
Required License and certifications
- Must have a valid, unexpired driver's license.
- Good driving record.
