Field Service Technician

We are seeking a Field Service Technician to work on industrial equipment mechanics at customer sites and in a shop environment. The role involves troubleshooting electro-mechanical problems, performing installations, unscheduled repairs, and scheduled maintenance on industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will excel in customer service and thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer equipment breakdowns and recommend corrective actions
• Perform major repairs and overhauls on industrial forklift equipment
• Conduct scheduled maintenance on forklift and industrial equipment
• Provide superior customer service
• Demonstrate mechanical and electrical proficiency
• Effectively use volt, ohm, and multimeters, as well as personal hand tools, grinders, pressers, and forklifts
• Read and interpret schematics and manuals
• Maintain a customer-focused approach with strong communication skills to deliver professional and comprehensive equipment service
• Work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of mechanical experience
• 2+ years of electrical experience
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Availability to travel Monday through Friday

Preferred:

• Associate’s Degree in a Technical Field or Military Experience
