7 am - 4 pm
THE ROLE: The Field Service Technician will beresponsible for executing field service activities at customer sites in a safeand
efficient manner. This role includes systemtroubleshooting, works with mechanical, electrical, diesel equipmentconditions,
conducts preventative maintenance and parts inventory,and can identify and remedy safety issues (both Company and Customer
owned equipment). Has direct interfacing with customerand potentially works at multiple sites / with multiple technologies.
Critical thinking in this role is a critical item.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform the job successfully, an individual must beable to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Prior pipe fusion machine experience preferred but notrequired with pipe diameters ranging from 4 inch to 36 inch
Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance andservicing as directed on Godwin fleet equipment.
Perform an initial inspection of Godwin fleet equipmentfor possible damages; diagnose damages; report damages to Service Manager.
Create an accurate and legible parts and repair list forassigned equipment.
Safely and effectively operate a company vehicle forextended periods of time throughout cities, job sites, major highways andinterstates (including tunnels and bridges) and in all weather conditions
Review list of parts with Service Manager and obtainapproval to continue with servicing and repair.
Repair damaged equipment.
Test all repaired equipment for proper operation andquality.
Perform preventative maintenance on shop equipment asdirected (air dryer, chain saws, etc.). Perform related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Requirements
HS diploma or equivalent
Capable of obtaining a CDL, class A or B with applicableendorsements
Experience Requirements:
Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC,DISA, etc.)
Ability to obtain DOT Medical card
Clean driving record
Work experience preferred
0 to 2 years of technical work experience, 1 yearpreferred
Skill Requirements:
Electrical, mechanical, diesel, fusion experiencedepending on business unit
Work without direct supervision
Technically sound
Experience with Microsoft Office including smart devices
Must have customer service experience
Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshootingability
Synthesizes technical information and communicates itclearly
Derives insight from customer experience to produceoutcomes and solve moderately complex problems often in novel and
unexpected ways
Travel Requirements:
Some travel required
20% travel sporadic, mostly working out of the yard.
