As a Field Service Technician you will:
- Complete service at customer’s plants including installation, repair or troubleshooting to packaging equipment.
- Instructing maintenance and operating personnel in the proper operating and maintenance procedures, as well as, safety, clean-up procedures for packaging equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of packaging equipment, maintenance and general industrial maintenance techniques.
- Packaging line mechanical knowledge of general functions of automated machinery.
- Be able to work independently on installations, upgrades, and overhauls for packaging equipment.
- 85-90% travel
This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.
Qualifications for this role:
- 2+ years experience in machine maintenance, preferably in the packaging industry.
- Solid mechanical/pneumatic knowledge.
- Must be able to read blueprints and be familiar with the metric system.
- Must be able to perform work assignments that are of a technical, involved nature, requiring the use of judgement and independent thinking.
- PLC: Siemens and Rockwell programing experience preferred
- Able to travel to customer locations for equipment installations: 85-90% travel
