In the role of Field Service Technician, you will perform the installation, repair, preventative maintenance, and qualification of water purification systems.
Pay Range: $32.00 to $35.00 per Hour - Full Time Role
Duties and Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Complete preventative maintenance, repairs and installation work orders for water filtration systems using minor power tools, hand tools, etc.
- Communicate with client field manager and client customer to schedule work orders within three (3) days of receiving work order
- Provide professional service on a timely basis to clients
- Provide accurate and detailed work orders in client systems
- Provide customer with appropriate documentation of the work that was completed including reports and photos
- Manage client inventory for maintenance, repairs and installation work orders
- Keep tools and test equipment in proper working order and calibration
- Maintain company fleet vehicle including monthly reporting and vehicle maintenance
Knowledge, Skills, Ability, and Experience Required
Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of field service experience, testing, repairing, and maintaining capital equipment
- Technical degree in areas such as Plumbing, Electronics, Computer Repair
- Associate degree in engineering, science, or technical field
- Previous professional experience in Plumbing, Electronics, Computers
- Previous experience with Field Service Lightening (Salesforce)
- Customer-facing experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand technical documents
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical equipment issues
- Proficient with test equipment, minor power tools and hand tools
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
You may travel outside your territory occasionally to support fellow technicians in other territories and to attend client and company trainings.
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
