Hiring Manager: Director of Client Solution Delivery
Position Summary
The Field Service Representative is responsible for installing and repairing all assigned Electronic Article Surveillance (“EAS”) and Radio Frequency Identification (“RFID”) systems, training customers on the use of systems, and completing on-site surveys as required. Assisting Customer Solution Providers (“CSPs”) is also a requirement, as needed.
Responsibilities
• Installs and maintains EAS/RFID products and systems on scheduled activities, assigned by CONTROLTEK.
• Maintains accurate parts, tools and documentation inventory.
• Maintains company vehicle in accordance with Vehicle Policy.
• Maintains daily requirements for documentation, CONTROLTEK portal system updates and timely communications.
• Practices safety procedures and incorporates safety standards into all activities.
• Trains customers on the use of EAS/RFID systems.
• Works with internal services department to ensure service and installation standards and responsiveness are met.
• Interfaces with customers to resolve installation and service issues.
• Provides site surveys, photos and related documentation for sales/services as required.
• Interfaces with other departments to maximize e?ciencies, e?ectiveness and pro?tability throughout the installation and service process.
• Works with other ?eld resources and internal departments to meet established goals and objectives while maintaining pro?tability within the Client Solutions Delivery Organization.
Required Qualifications
• 2 year AA degree or BSET in electronics, equivalent military training or industry experience.
• Possess 3 minimum skill certi?cations (out of 5):
o Project management
o Network Certification
o EAS Certification
o RFID Certification
o CCTV/NVR Certification
• Experience with electronic test equipment and digital meters.
• Valid drivers license in current state of residence.
• Ability to obtain state and local low-voltage licenses.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documentation.
• Understanding of customer requirements.
• Computer pro?ciency (Word, Excel, e-mail).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and proven ability to produce quality work.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate technical issues to customers.
• Strong problem solving and customer service skills
Physical Demands:
• Ability to lift at least 55 lbs and 25 lbs overhead.
• Ability to work on lifts, ladders and new and existing construction sites.
• Ability to travel for service or installation projects (50% to 75% travel).
Work Environment:
• Customer locations.

• Additional travel outside employee residence may be required.
