As for your schedule, you typically work from Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch. You need to be available by phone on weeknights and weekends to support technicians as needed. In this role, you manage our technicians' field operations, drive departmental efficiency and profitability, and oversee training to keep our heating and air conditioning team at the top of the game. You manage all aspects of our service department, from employee training and scheduling to inventory coordination and customer service. By efficiently managing dispatching efforts, ordering parts, maintaining service vehicles, and providing in-field support, you ensure we complete our HVAC projects on time and within budget.
You keep our department organized by reviewing closeouts and invoices, verifying warranty claims, approving time cards, coordinating our marketing calendar, and tracking bonuses. You're driven to drive revenue and profitability, and you do what you can to secure more business and promote maintenance contracts. You handle customer concerns, provide quotes, and do whatever it takes to support successful workdays!
