The Field Service Manager manages all field and in-house Service Engineers and Technicians. Position Summary:
The Field Service Manager is responsible for managing, coordinating, prioritizing and growing all aspects of field service operations. This would also include large project supervision, installation, start-up, service pricing, and customer satisfaction. The Field Service Manager is responsible for the overall profit and loss of the operating unit, as well as, recruiting and developing personnel. These activities require the timely completion of these activities at/or under budgeted cost to the complete satisfaction of our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all field and in-house (Service Engineers and Technicians) assignments, based on the size and timing of the contract.
- Implement the business strategy set by General Manager for the continued growth of the operating unit.
- Maintain and educate field workforce by conducting performance reviews, disciplines and provides training (i.e.: on-site training, seminars, etc.).
- Oversee and process all timesheets, travel and other expenses of field personnel.
- Responsible for the preparation of quotations and/or special projects, as required. Ensure that the quotations are completed in a timely manner.
- Responsible for processing completed projects through billing in a timely manner and providing monthly revenue and margin forecasts.
- Travel to customer locations to increase relationships and grow into new segments.
- Perform periodic safety audits of field projects to ensure safety policies are adhered to.
Qualifications:
- This position requires an individual experienced in field service, motor repair and project management.
- Additionally, computer skills in Excel and Word and have excellent customer interface experience.
- The position demands an individual who is hard working at achieving company objectives, detail oriented, able to direct personnel in a positive manner with effective oral & written communication skills.
- Demonstrated manager/team skills are also critical, as some development and ongoing projects involve teams of individuals from different backgrounds within the organization.
