About the Job
Our client, a company developing solutions for clinical needs in dermatology and photobiology, has an immediate opening for a Field Service Engineer. This role will ensure the optimal performance and customer satisfaction of medical aesthetic laser systems.Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site installation, commissioning, and training for medical aesthetic laser systems at client locations
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure optimal performance and uptime of equipment
- Diagnose technical issues remotely or on-site, utilizing strong troubleshooting skills and diagnostic tools to identify root causes and implement solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and product development to address customer needs and provide feedback for product improvement
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to service requests, resolving issues effectively, and maintaining positive client relationships
- Document service activities, including service reports, technical documentation, and customer communications promptly
- Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Other responsibilities as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience (3-5 years)
- Proven proficiency in field service, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry
- Technical proficiency in electromechanical systems, lasers, optics, and electronics preferred
- Familiarity with computers and CRM systems
- Experience working with third party service companies and training field service technicians
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Excellent understanding of Electronic systems in general, i.e.,TTL, CMOS
- Ability to lift and maneuver equipment and components weighing up to 50 pounds during installation, maintenance, and repairs
- Must have the physical stamina and agility to perform tasks that involve bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching in various environments, including clinical settings and client facilities
- Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally to client sites, often on short notice, to provide on-site support and service. Willingness to travel extensively to client sites (up to 70% travel may be required)
