Opportunity Overview:
As a Field Services Engineer, you will have the opportunity to experience a range of activities, which vary week to week and sometimes day to day.
These include:
• Travel to customer site to support our customers to perform preventive maintenance procedures, system level repairs, system installation, and acceptance testing of Teradyne Semiconductor Test Systems (J750, Ultraflex+, Eagle Test, etc.)
• Interface with various support teams within Teradyne to deliver on Teradyne's commitment to our customers
• Provide technical support to customer and field team either on-site or through phone or email
• Participate in cost reduction, productivity improvement program initiated
• Share technical knowledge/ breakthrough with peers and technician during team meetings.
• Contribute in solution into e-Knowledge
• Identify issues that require escalation with the team
• Uphold Teradyne and respect customer core values at all times

• 1+ years of hands-on electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
• Prior experience on Teradyne or any other ATE platform is a plus
• Apply structured approach to problem solving
• Sensitive to the needs in communication and effective follow-up till resolution of issues
• Effective in handling situation in crisis by following applicable Teradyne process (e.g. SPR, flagging PCFD)
• Self-driven in pursuing technical knowledge related to the job. Problem Complexity
• Constantly align work procedures and expectations with customers and field team in alignment with the changing needs and expectation of the dynamic business environment
• Work is reviewed by customers and field rep. Level of influence / credibility (Liaison)
• Capable of influencing customers he/she liaises with. Level of Impact to organization
