Field Service Engineer - Hydromat

About the Job
The role of a Field Service Engineer is to troubleshoot, disassemble, assess, order parts, repair, and test functionality of mechanical equipment such as high precision hydraulic toolspindle units and sequencing valves to like new O.E.M. condition. This individual will also assemble new components and test functionality using various methods of testing to insure quality.
This position requires
Two year certificate from college or technical school
Three to five years related experience on mechanical component assembly
Current Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Driver's license
Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical assemblies, understand tolerances and classes of fit, and be able to read drawings (detail and assembly).
Have a thorough knowledge of all Hydromat machines.
Additional experience
Ability to run manual toolroom machines such as a bandsaw, drill press, vertical milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders
Familiarity with Fanuc robotics
This position requires a first shift work schedule, ability to travel as business needs dictate, up to 50%.
