About the Job
Our Quality Assurance team is searching for a Field Service Engineer/Test Technician to provide on-site customer support, perform initial equipment startups, and conduct production testing.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial equipment startup and troubleshoot customer issues at various locations.
- Assist the Testing team during downtime from field service activities, including testing circuit boards, final products, and communication equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to explain technical issues.
Qualifications:
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively (average 2 weeks per month).
- Associate's degree in Electronics preferred, or equivalent experience in a technical field.
- Proven ability to independently solve problems, represent the company professionally, and effectively communicate with diverse teams.
- Experience in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electronic equipment is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams for troubleshooting purposes.
- Experience with a security clearance and Navy shipboard experience are considered a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Willingness to train and mentor future employees.
- Excellent organizational skills and basic mathematical abilities.
- Prior soldering experience with J-Standard IPC-001 certification is a benefit.
- Ability to effectively convey and enforce company policies.
Physical Demands:
- The position requires standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
