Compensation:?$28-32/hour + up to 10 hours of overtime available weekly. Employees often earn 1.5x their base pay with overtime pay.
Location:?Seattle, WA. This role will include a combination of travel, office, home, and field work. Employees can expect to travel nationally and regionally up to 60% each month. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately interpret technical drawings and understand the framework of control systems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer-related tasks, including network management, problem-solving, and modifying control modules.
- Utilize multimeters and software tools to diagnose and rectify communication or loop errors.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Power Management Systems, including the operation of generators and governor controls for generators and main engines.
- Gain expertise in handling both AC and DC electrical motors.
- Capable of augmenting or adjusting control logic as needed.
- Acquire familiarity with a variety of communication protocols such as CAN, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, and TCP/IP.
- Ensure timely submission of timesheets and expense reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent education in an Engineering or Technical discipline, and/or a minimum of two years of experience in the marine industry.
- Strong verbal communication and written reporting skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Valid passport.
- Authorized to work legally in the US without company sponsorship.
