The Field Service Engineer for Plastic Injection Molding will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and assistance to clients in the plastic manufacturing industry. They will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing issues with injection molding machines and related equipment. This role will require travel to various client sites and may involve working outside of normal business hours.

The Field Service Engineer for Plastic Injection Molding will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and assistance to clients in the plastic manufacturing industry. They will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing issues with injection molding machines and related equipment. This role will require travel to various client sites and may involve working outside of normal business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plastic injection molding machines and related equipment at client sites
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Interpret and analyze electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical solutions and recommendations
- Train clients on the proper use and maintenance of injection molding machines
- Document all service visits, repairs, and recommendations in a timely and accurate manner
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and best practices for plastic injection molding
- 3+ years of experience working with plastic injection molding machines in a technical capacity
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnosis skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- Demonstrated field service experience or equivalent experience in the area of troubleshooting and repair of injection molding machines.
- Strong background in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical repair and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to travel and work outside of normal business hours as needed
