FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER-Maintenance - Gpac

We are currently working with a precision CNC manufacturing cutting tools manufacturer, looking for a Field Service Engineer based out of the Buffalo area, working remotely and traveling the region of the surrounding states.

The job:

· Provide customers with maintenance, repair, and installation assistance for CNC machine tools on-site or by telephone.

· Creating and updating documentation of technical information.

· Contribute to product development by assisting and training the end customer’s Service Engineers on installing and maintaining newer product lines.

· Seventy-five percent travel weekly.

· All travel is paid for, and you get paid while you travel. If it makes sense to stay the weekend, do what works best; they are happy to pay for the weekend stay. Of course, you are reimbursed if you use your vehicle. They take care of their team very well because they can.

Credentials desired:

· Associate’s degree, or Bachelors in a technical field, trade schools or certificates work too.

· 2-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools. Installation, repairs, etc. Programming and operating CNC machines with 3,5,7 axis.

· Experience operating or maintaining robotics, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Haas, DMG/MORI SEIKI machines, Siemens controls or Heidenhaim is a plus.

· Proven ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence (PLC) ladder diagrams.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., without current or future requirements for sponsorship of an employment-based visa status.

The salary range is $75-95k DOE.
