Job Description:
We are seeking a TS/SCI cleared Linux Systems Engineer, located in Hurlburt Field, FL to be responsible for maintaining mission essential systems while providing direct support to end users in an operational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Be proficient supporting a distributed LINUX server and Database environment - Virtual and Physical
- Problem solve complex IT topics and take initiative to recommend and implement solutions
- Positive attitude and user support oriented, willingness to teach and advise on technical and functional issues
- Be required to meet short notice operational requirements.
Here's what you need:
- 5+ years of experience supporting Linux/Unix systems in an enterprise production environment.
- 2+ years of experience of Linux experience of RedHat, CentOS, Scientific Linux or similar Linux/Unix systems
- 2+ years of experience with deployment and configuration of monitoring systems (Nagios, Cacti, etc.)
- 1+ year of experience with mission critical Enterprise level systems and IT operations, aka "5 Nines".
- Must be willing to work occasional long hour days and weekends when necessary
- Must have a Security+ certification
- Must be willing to travel up to 30% and must have valid passport
Bonus points if you have:
- Collect customer requirements and train users
- Desire to learn new technologies to share and build knowledge with the teams
- Experience with open communication and reaching across functional borders
- BS in Computer Science or related field
Security Clearance:
- An active TS/SCI clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
$97,300—$196,500 USD
