ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a driven and motivated Field Sales Representative to lead our conference and business development efforts within the government contracting industry. This dynamic role is ideal for a professional with a gregarious personality who naturally enjoys chatting with others, helping them solve their problems, and thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
In this role, you will spearhead GovSignals conference circuit strategy, ensuring our presence at key events where our core client base gathers. You’ll identify the best conferences to attend, coordinate with our marketing team to prepare engaging materials—including swag, brochures, and social media campaigns—and ensure GovSignals stands out. Your ability to deliver compelling demonstrations of the GovSignals platform and effectively communicate its capabilities will be critical to engaging prospective clients and driving sales. You'll work closely with our founders to setup key meetings to help drive sales and disrupt the industry from the inside out!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attend weekly conferences in DC & across the country (all expenses paid) meeting with tons of business leaders, including evening events schmoozing with business leaders across the industry
- Coordinate conference scheduling - from conference, to accommodations, sponsorship, and swag
- Deliver short, engaging demos at the conference booth, engaging hundreds of passerbys
- Receive best-in-class training & mentorship by seasoned founders; line up the leadership team to speak at events and meet with key conference stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS:
- All degrees of professional experience from freshly graduated to several years of work experience will be considered
- You're a natural at drawing people in, willing to talk to anyone, able to carry a conversation, and have an insatiable thirst for connecting with and helping others
- You're passionate about changing the world & promoting a worthwhile cause
- Ability to overcome rejection & have fun in the process
- Exceptional organizational and coordination skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with others

Total Compensation:
- $40k Standard Salary Base
- PLUS: High Commission; Total Target-All-In-Comp: $80-100k+ / year
