Field Safety Representative-Vegetation Management Industry - Zielies Tree Service

Zielies Tree Service Inc., a leader in Vegetation Management Services is currently seeking a Field Safety/Training Representative.

Primary Focus:

• Provides leadership, direction, and support in the development and execution of an effective safety culture and programs.
• Monitors safety compliance with our established Health and Safety Management System.
• Training and evaluation of best practices in Vegetation management Activies activity (Tree Trimming, Heavy Equipment Operation, Fleet Operation, etc.
• Document and investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses.
• Conducts Jobsite Inspections.
• Ensure compliance with all company and client safety expectations.
• Provide Emergency Response Support and Guidance.
• Desired Skills

• Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate and lead personnel in advancing the safety culture through an established Health and Safety Management System.
• 3 years of progressively responsible experience in construction safety preferred.
• Certified Utility Safety Professional Credentials preferred
• Certified Tree care Safety Professional Credentials preferred.
• Degree, Diploma or certificate in Occupational Health & Safety preferred.
• Proven interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Well versed and comfortable on a computer.
• Proficient in Microsoft word and Excel.
  

  More about the Job:

• This is a regional safety position that will cover our Monroe, LA into Southern Arkansas territory. Much of the time will be spent visiting various crews throughout the territory, completing safety inspections, or providing training and support as needed.
