Job Details:

• Job Title: Field Construction Safety Manager
• Location: New Albany, OH
• Duration: 2-4 Months (Start: 1/13/2025)
• Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $52.50/hr (overtime after 40)
• Completion Bonus: $150/month
• Pay: Weekly

Schedule:

• Work Days: 10 days on, 4 days off schedule
• Shift: First shift, roughly 6 AM-6 PM (60 hrs/week)

Project Scope:

Oversee the field safety of a GC on a new data center build. Responsibilities include:

• JSAs
• Site Walks
• Audits
• Safety enforcement

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years in construction safety management with data center experience
• Certifications:
  • OSHA 510 (required)

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations.
• Provide safety training as needed.
• Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety practices.
• Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence.
• Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Skills:

  • Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • OSHA outreach training experience (a plus)
  • Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

• Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
  • Effective communication of EHS principles
