Field/Road Technician - MP RPO

Are you a hardworking and responsible individual? Do you have experience as a Field/Road Technician? Do you have strong mechanical skills and experience with Electrical, Hydraulic, Compactors? Are you a team player with a great attitude? If so, our team would love to hear from you!

What you will be doing:

• The Field/Road Technician trouble shoots, repairs and maintains all equipment at locations throughout New England, i.e., Electrical and Hydraulic.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices. Major Responsibilities Complete on-the-job and classroom training in the mechanical, and hydraulic components of the product line and associated repair/service procedures so as to be successful as a Road Technician.
• Diagnose issues with hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Restore equipment to working order through component replacement and/or repair.
• Utilize operators and parts & maintenance manuals in determining procedures and identifying parts.

Our ideal candidate has:

• Valid Driver's License
• Basic computer knowledge
• Willingness to work as a member of a team and bring a positive attitude

• Exhibit positive and effective communication and interaction with other associates, vendors, and customers.
• Restore equipment to working order through component replacement and/or repair.
• Training provided for this position to the right individual.
• Must be willing to travel and spend occasional overnights.

• Ability to operate crane truck or willingness to learn.

Additional information:

• Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm
• Some weekends might be required
• Overtime available if required
• $28-$32/hour
• Company uniforms supplied
