Teradyne is looking for a Field Product Specialist who will work with a cross functional team and develop strategic relationships with our customer's key technical decision makers.





Responsibilities:





+ Provide expert advice to customers, Sales, FAE’s and support staff while working closely with sales/marketing management and product software/hardware staff to ensure that relevant technical information is promptly and accurately communicated.


+ Responsible for the mastering of Teradyne products, product application and policies.


+ Develop, present, and respond to proposals for specific customer requirements.


+ Develop, coordinate and deliver product demonstrations which display the value of our solutions with prospects and clients.


+ Works closely with customers to define projects, identify new opportunities and support existing sustainment activities.


+ Responsible for providing detailed communication regarding the application, sizing and competitive position of products.


+ Develop relationship with customer (as defined in account plan; focus on technical/operation decision makers)


+ Keep informed on competitors, industry news and trends, products services, relevant information about legacy, existing, emerging technologies, and the latest product-line development.






Basic Qualifications & Skills:





+ 8+ years industry experience


+ ATE experience on Teradyne, such as UltraFLEX, Flex, J750, Magnum or other semiconductor ATE platforms


+ General understanding of ATE industry trends as well as competitive products and product positioning will be a plus


+ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills


+ Possess team skills and has ability to work independently


+ Ability to work with customer and international teams


+ Excellent judgment and problem solving skills


+ Strong presentation skills


+ Willingness for international travel up to 25%






Education:





+ Minimum BSEE, BSCS or equivalent work experience
