JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Crew Member / Field Pipe Installer / General Laborer
Capital Pump & Equipment-is a fast-growing company that is in the greater Houston area seeking a Crew Member/Field Pipe Installer. The position will coordinate with the Crew Leader to provide an exemplary level of service to customers, demonstrate skills and performance in the use, operation, set up of all types of pumps and equipment. This is an entry level position and requires the individual to demonstrate a level of professionalism through positive communication and appearance that will be respected by other Crew Members.
Skills & Abilities
- Must be a team player
- Must have basic mechanical skills
- Must be able to use small hand and power tools
- Ability to do frequent heavy lifting
- Ability to work overtime when necessary
- Ability to work in varied outdoor environments
- Ability to receive and carry out instructions
- Must adhere to safety rules and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Must be dependable
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
- Other duties as assigned
Experience & Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Forklift certification required within 90 days of hire
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required; CDL a plus
- Experience in rental/pump industry, preferred
- HDPE fusion experience is a plus

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. This person must be able to pass a drug screen prior to hiring, you will also have to provide your driver's license to perform a Motor Vehicle Records background check.
