What will you be doing?
As field operator lead, you play a critical role in leading field investigations for Exodigo. You will be working on some of the most exciting infrastructure projects across the USA. We will provide you with training on our operations and equipment. You will be in charge of the field operations. Here are some key roles and responsibilities of this job:
- Lead team of operators using our investigation equipment, deploying state of the art AI technology and engineering mindset to solve the underground (for more information visit www.exodigo.ai)
- Lead the team of field operators in safely executing quality site investigations
- Lead the field team throughout the life-cycle of the project, from planning the site with the Project Manager, execution in the field to work with a delivery team that analyzes the data and produces our maps.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges on site in coordination with project support team
- Document interactions, site information and operation reports in organizational management software.

- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated expertise in tackling complex field challenges with innovative solutions, utilizing a strong analytical mindset to overcome obstacles. This involves identifying potential and existing causes of issues on site and beforehand, developing strategic plans to address them, and implementing effective solutions that enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.
- Coordination and Communication: Exceptional coordination and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, collaborate with diverse teams, and maintain clear and concise communication across all levels of the company. This includes coordinating schedules, resources, and activities to ensure seamless project execution, as well as effectively conveying information and updates to stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Proven experience leading a team of field personnel such as survey crews, utility locating crews, construction inspection staff, and technological companies’ field teams.
- A can do and winning mindset, positive attitude, be results-oriented, team player, strong work ethic, independent and self-driven, high sense of urgency.
- Strong attention to detail
- Passion for accuracy
- Must have flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the business, including domestic travel across the US (up to 75-100%).
- Physically demanding- must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day. Some projects will require work to be complete during night hours to minimize disruption to traffic.
- Able to handle loading and unloading equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to ride in a vehicle up to four hours to travel to and from job sites
The Ideal Candidate:
- 2 years of experience with field operations and management, preferably with utility locating, surveying, infrastructure maintenance or construction experience
- Background in earth sciences, engineering, surveying, construction or utility mapping is highly desired
- Willingness to travel domestically to jobs in urban and remote environments across the United States
- Technological savvy, ability to troubleshoot technological issues on-site
- Excellent English – mandatory (read/write/speak)
- Ability to work in a team-goal-oriented environment.
- Comfortable working with a global team (U.S, Europe and Israel)
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to proactively recommend ideas and execute planned activities
- Experience with industries such as – transportation, utilities, and construction – a plus
- OSHA 10 Certificate- a plus
- FAA part 107 drone pilot- a plus
- Railroad Access Background Check - a plus
Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000
Location: Across US Metros within reasonable access to major airports such as New York, Boston, Denver, Los Angeles, Seattle, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco, San Jose, etc.
