We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Field Manager to join our landscape construction company in Kirkland, WA. The ideal candidate will oversee daily jobsite operations, ensure high-quality installations, and uphold our commitment to excellence in safety, environmental, and quality standards. This position demands an action-oriented individual capable of independently identifying and resolving production issues while proactively anticipating and preventing potential problems or delays.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Site Visits: Visit jobsites daily to ensure crews have all resources and clarity needed for efficient progress and high-quality installation.
- Quality Management: Ensure projects are completed with quality and compliant with environmental, and safety standards.
- Resource Coordination: Coordinate the use of resources, materials, and equipment necessary for the scope of each project.
- Field Scheduling: Proactively manage the field schedule to ensure projects are adequately staffed and completed on time.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and up-to-date status reports to clients.
- Staff Development: Coach and mentor field staff to improve skills and performance, motivate them, and support their growth.
- Performance Reviews: Provide timely feedback to field employees and manage performance reviews for all employees.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in landscape construction or a related industry.
- 1+ years of supervising landscaping and/or construction crews.
Knowledge:
- Comprehensive expertise in all aspects of landscape construction, encompassing hardscaping, carpentry, water features, planting, and heavy equipment operation.
- Knowledge of plants, gardening, and design (preferred).
Skills:
- Tactical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and analytics (preferred).
Attributes:
- Proven experience in project and client management.
- Self-motivated and action oriented.
- Fluent in Spanish (preferred).
