Position Overview
ThreatModeler is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Head of Field Marketing to plan and execute a comprehensive field marketing strategy aligned with pipeline generation goals. This strategic role will collaborate closely with field sales and business development teams to deliver measurable outcomes that directly contribute to revenue growth. In addition to field marketing, this position will lead efforts to build brand awareness by fostering and curating a community of Threat Modeling professionals, customer champions, and industry thought leaders in combination of Advisory Boards, Professional Communities, and Certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Marketing Strategy and Execution
- Develop and execute a quarterly field marketing plan designed to meet pipeline generation targets in collaboration with field sales leadership.
- Plan and attend 1-2 major trade shows per year and 1 third-party-hosted event per quarter, ensuring ROI through high-quality lead generation.
- Collaborate with sales and business development representatives (BDRs) to ensure leads are effectively followed up, nurtured, and converted into pipeline opportunities and revenue.
- Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness and ROI of all field marketing investments, with a focus on driving revenue outcomes.
- Community Engagement and Brand Awareness
- Lead initiatives to build ThreatModeler’s brand awareness by curating a community of Threat Modeling professionals, customer advocates, and industry influencers.
- Develop and execute strategies to engage community members through online forums, webinars, and in-person meetups.
- Position ThreatModeler as a leader in the Threat Modeling space by fostering relationships with industry thought leaders and amplifying their voices.
- Team Management
- Manage and mentor one direct report, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and professional development.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with the broader marketing team, sales, and BDR teams.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in field marketing or demand generation, in B2B SaaS, preferably cybersecurity.
- Skills: Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working closely with sales and BDR teams to achieve pipeline goals.
- Demonstrated experience planning and executing events and trade shows, including managing logistics, lead capture, and post-event follow-up.
- Proven success in building and nurturing professional communities to amplify brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Ability to analyze marketing performance metrics and present insights to leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a relevant experience.
Travel Requirement
Willingness to travel to 1-2 major trade shows per year and 1 third-party-hosted event per quarter.
