What you'll do: The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic restaurant marketing programs, and supporting operations.
Essential Functions:
- Develop, implement, and track marketing programs that increase brand awareness, customer traffic count, and overall sales.
- Plan and execute marketing events in coordination with the restaurants and the company wide calendar.
- Measure ROI on restaurant initiatives
- Create and maintain a contact list for potential and existing business partners, local events, fundraisers, and festivals.
- Gather competitive analysis of pricing, menu selection, marketing programs and what are they doing that is WOW!
- Manage social media.
- Build relationships with local schools and organizations to present and offer fundraising opportunities available.
- Build relationships with local businesses, real estate agents, chamber of commerce members and government officials to partner with them on community initiatives.
- Be the brand ambassador in the community.
- Collaborate with managers and operations to identify opportunities in the marketplace.
- Identify and capitalize on strategic partners that complement the local restaurant.
Required experience and what you need to be great at:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with 3-5 years of direct field marketing experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing preferred.
- Willing to travel up to 60%, including overnight travel. A company vehicle will be provided.
- Experienced in developing and implementing field marketing programs in local communities.
- Restaurant Experience.
- Experience developing calendar of community events and marketing initiatives for restaurants
- Must have an entrepreneurial approach, be innovative and creative with marketing, branding, and communication initiatives.
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivated with a great attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills.
- Grand opening experience a plus.
- Must be self-starter and can move projects forward, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Adept in influencing others to create involvement and execution of an initiative.
- Partner with operations daily to insure proper and effective communications.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Proficient in video editing software and graphic design tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong proofreading skills.
- Ability to conduct research independently and analyze data effectively.
- Familiarity with photography techniques is a plus.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Sales minded, with strong orientation for guest satisfaction.
- Dedication to providing excellent customer service.
