Position Overview: As a Field/ Lead Carpenter at Outside In Construction, you will play a pivotal role in constructing and renovating structures to meet our clients' specifications and expectations. Your expertise in carpentry, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carpentry Skills: Perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, finishing, and custom woodwork, to meet project requirements.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret construction blueprints and plans accurately.
• Tool Proficiency: Operate a wide range of hand and power tools to execute carpentry tasks efficiently and safely.
• Material Selection: Select and work with various building materials, ensuring quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines, protocols, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, contractors, and team members to ensure project goals are met.
• Problem Solving: Identify and address issues and challenges that may arise during construction.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards in all carpentry work to meet client expectations.
• Project Documentation: Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge: Solid knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and best practices.
• Skills: Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment. Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
• Abilities: Physical stamina and strength to perform carpentry tasks. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Other Attributes: Detail-oriented, reliable, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven carpentry experience (3-5+ years) in Residential Construction.
• Relevant certifications or trade school education is a plus but not required.
