Job Details
Field Engineer Responsibilities -
- Provide technical support to construction staff under the supervision of the Project Manager or Project Superintendent.
- Review plans and other technical documents.
- Assist with work package assembly.
- Answer questions regarding the scope and/or timing of the project.
- Assist in monitoring costs and project progress.
- Perform a variety of tasks, including items related to safety, permits, submittals, O&M manuals, material procurement, RFIs, construction scheduling, progress --meetings, and budgeting.
Surveyor Responsibilities -
- Perform onsite layout and basic surveying tasks.
- Create accurate AutoCAD drawings to the appropriate State Plane Coordinate System.
- Set and/or verify control points and benchmarks.
- Record accurate as-build information with Total Station or GNSS.
