Field Engineer/Inspector - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek has partnered with Civil – Geotech Engineering Company in Charlotte NC.   Our client is looking for a Field Engineer/Inspector with ACI Certification to perform  Inspections and testing services for  various construction materials (soils, foundation structural masonry, fire-proofing, reinforced concrete and post tensioned converted).
 

• 5 plus years of experience inspections and construction testing of soils, asphalt materials, concrete and masonry
• At least one ICC Certification, such as ICC Soils, ICC Reinforced Concrete, ICC Structural Masonry, ICC Spray-Applied Fireproofing, or ICC Structural Steel and Bolting
• ACI Field Level 1 Certification (concrete testing) Required
• Knowledge of testing and inspection methods, as well as industry standards, such as ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, and DOT
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Review of civil and structural plans
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Skilled in the use of computers (Word) and proficiency in using field data collection software 
• Other materials testing certifications from nationally recognized organizations such as CWI, NICET, or PTI Level I or II, are considered beneficial but not required.
