About the Job
We are seeking a dynamic Field Engineer/Surveyor to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to prepare and maintain sketches, maps, and reports related to earthwork and asphalt paving projects. Additionally, this position will involve setting survey stakes to provide alignment and elevation information for grading and paving operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and verify the accuracy of survey data.
- Record survey results and calculate terrain characteristics.
- Assist in construction operations by directing crews onsite.
- Develop construction drawings when required.
- Attend safety and operational training classes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to learn new software such as Trimble Robotics.
- Capacity to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
- Initiative and ownership in project execution.
- Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
